In an interview with "Voice Eco," Mr JC Minot, director of the Lille airport, first discussed the impact of weather, the Icelandic volcano and strikes before continuing:
"On a More broadly, we counted nearly 1.2 million passengers , and 2010 has been a record year for holiday flights (320 000). Bids are increasingly competitive in this area and this will continue. Algiers (85,000 persons per year), Porto and Spain are part of our history. Morocco will grow, just as Turkey and Tunisia. Sardinian destination starts in April. I find flights to countries of East and to Rome. Finally, I campaigned for greater cross into France with flights to Perpignan, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Toulouse: we need additional capacity. On all these plans, 2011 will be an exciting year. "
